Privacy Policy

Qorin ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
When you create a Qorin account and use the app, we collect:
- Account information — your name and email address, used to identify your account.
- Email credentials — IMAP/SMTP credentials or OAuth tokens for the email accounts you connect. These are stored encrypted and used solely to fetch and send email on your behalf.
- Email content — subject lines, bodies, and metadata of emails you choose to process with Qorin. This content is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for generating reply suggestions and is not stored after the session.
- Usage data — app interactions such as which features you use, error logs, and device type, used to improve the service.
- Training data — text and preferences you explicitly enter in the Training section to customise Qorin's responses. This is stored in your account.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the Qorin service — fetching, analysing, and drafting email replies.
- To send transactional emails (e.g. password reset codes).
- To improve the accuracy of AI-generated suggestions.
- To respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your email content to train AI models.
3. Third-Party Services
- Anthropic — AI inference for reply generation. Email content is transmitted to Anthropic's API under their data processing agreement and is not retained for training.
- Railway — cloud hosting for our server and PostgreSQL database (United States).
- Resend — transactional email delivery (password reset codes).
4. Data Retention
Your account data is retained until you delete your account. Email content sent for AI processing is not stored on our servers after the response is returned. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via qorinapp.com/delete.
5. Security
We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Passwords are stored as salted cryptographic hashes and never in plain text. Email credentials are stored encrypted at rest.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@qorinapp.com or use the data deletion page.
7. Children
Qorin is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notice or email. Continued use of Qorin after changes constitutes acceptance.
